Hello All … I'm currently rebuilding the Frig Box on my 1986 Tartan 40, and replacing all Galley (and Head) countertop surfaces (with Corian). My Frig Lids are the "Butterfly" style with a piano hinge centered between the two halves fore & aft. A Ring Pull in each half allows each half to be lifted separately or the entire thing can be removed entirely. I am installing a new single Hatch from Glacier Bay.
I won't be using the old Lids any longer and am happy to send to anyone for cost of shipping. They are located on Cape Cod. They are in good shape for being 30 years old, covered with white Formica laminate with teak edge banding. I don't have the measurements handy as I am away from the boat for a month or so. But assume stock Tartan size. If anyone is interested, let me know … otherwise they are heading to the Dump.
The Ring Pulls I installed a few years ago, nice hardware, there is a female "Keeper / Catch" that takes the captive latch from the Pull, that I let into the surround frame on each side for positive contact. I have all the Hardware as well.
