We ordered our Davits from Kato Marine in Annapolis (www.katomarine.com). The customer service is fantastic and we're very pleased with our davits that are mounted on the stern of our Tartan372. We did the installation ourselves with no issues.
We have a 4400 and are considering davits. Which davits do you have and where are they mounted?
We have a 2008 Tartan 4300 with a 10' AVI inflatable dinghy on davits.  At first we would hoist the dinghy including the 9.8 HP outboard but I bought and installed a Novalift hoist for the outboard and now keep the outboard on an outboard motor mount on the pushpit.  The dinghy weighs less and doesn't bounce around as much when on the davits.  Would love to hear more about your boat.  What hull number is it?  What engine do you have?
I have a 2008 Tartan 44. I also have an 11'6" Achilles inflatable with a 20 HP engine. Is this too big to consider putting on davits? The boat has a 14' beam.

Thoughts?
